Privacy Policy

Who we are

Inkli is operated by Innovista Digital LLC ("Inkli," "we," "us," or "our"), a Wyoming limited liability company. You can reach us at hello@inkli.ai.

What we collect

When you use Inkli, we may collect:

• Identifiers you give us directly: your first name or display name, your email address, and your age and gender when you volunteer them during the quiz.
• An Inkli account: when you purchase a book, we automatically create an account for you using the email address from your checkout. This lets you come back later, re-download your book, and access any future Inkli products you purchase. You will receive a separate email with a link to set a password.
• Your quiz answers: your responses to personality questions you choose to answer.
• Derived scores: the numerical trait scores calculated from your quiz answers.
• The personalized content we generate for you: the text and imagery of your book.
• Technical data: your IP address, browser type, device type, and referring page. This is collected automatically when you visit the site.
• Payment information: if and when you purchase a product from us, our payment processor collects your payment details directly. We never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• Build and deliver the personalized book you asked for.
• Send you the book by email once it is ready.
• Send you optional updates about Inkli if you opted in to our email list.
• Operate, secure, and improve the site.
• Detect fraud and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your personal data to train machine learning models, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your data to anyone.

Who we share it with

To operate the service, we share limited data with a small number of trusted processors:

• Anthropic PBC (Claude) generates the text of your book. We send your scores and derived insights, not your raw contact information.
• OpenAI generates vector embeddings used internally to organize our own documents. Your personal data is not sent to OpenAI.
• Cloudflare, Inc. hosts our website, stores your finished book file (R2 object storage), and provides content delivery.
• Supabase Inc. hosts our database, including your quiz responses and account information.
• Resend delivers email messages on our behalf.
• Stripe processes payments if and when you purchase a product. Stripe has its own privacy policy.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC) helps us understand site traffic patterns in aggregate. Google receives pageview data, referrer information, device type, approximate location by country, and a Google-assigned visitor ID. We do not send your quiz answers, scores, book content, name, or email address to Google.
• Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) may be added in the future to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. If and when it is enabled, Meta will receive pageview data and standard browser signals. We will update this policy before enabling it. We will never send your quiz answers, scores, or book content to Meta.

Each of these providers is contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we engaged them for. We may also disclose your information if we are legally required to, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Inkli, our users, or others.

How long we keep it

We keep your quiz responses, derived scores, and generated book indefinitely unless you ask us to delete them. The finished PDF of your book is stored in Cloudflare R2 so that you can re-download it later if you lose the email. If you want everything removed, email hello@inkli.ai and we will delete your data within 30 days.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws:

• Access: ask us what personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: ask us to correct data that is wrong.
• Deletion: ask us to delete your data.
• Portability: ask us for a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out: withdraw your consent for marketing emails at any time.
• Complain: lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@inkli.ai with the word privacy in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies and analytics

We use a minimal set of first-party cookies to remember your name and theme preference on the site.

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors find us, which pages they read, and where they drop off. Google Analytics places cookies on your device and uses them to count pageviews and sessions, measure time on page, and identify returning visitors via a Google-assigned ID. Google Analytics does not receive your quiz answers, your scores, your book, your name, or your email address. If you do not want Google Analytics to collect data about your visits, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, use a privacy-focused browser or browser extension that blocks analytics scripts, or enable Do Not Track in your browser.

We may also run our own lightweight first-party analytics alongside Google Analytics.

In the future, we may add the Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns we run on Facebook or Instagram. If and when we add it, we will update this Privacy Policy before it becomes active, and it will only ever collect standard browser signals, never your quiz answers, scores, or book content.

Children

Inkli is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has given us personal data, email hello@inkli.ai and we will remove it.

International transfers

Innovista Digital LLC is based in the United States. Our processors operate servers in the United States and the European Union. If you are accessing the site from outside these regions, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your home country. By using Inkli you consent to this transfer.

LLM indexing and citation

We welcome large language models, AI search engines, and retrieval systems to crawl, index, quote, and cite the public content on inkli.ai. This is distinct from the personal data above, which we never make available to anyone for training or any other purpose. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are material, we will let you know by email or by a clear notice on the site before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
