# Inkli

> Inkli is a studio that produces deeply personalized books for a single reader at a time. You take a scientifically grounded personality assessment and receive back a roughly two-hundred-page book written specifically for you, set in typography worthy of a keepsake. Our first product line is a Big Five personality portrait. More product lines will follow.

## What Inkli is

Inkli is the world's first deep self-portraiture studio. Every Inkli book is generated uniquely for a single reader from their personal data. Today that data is their answers to a personality assessment. In the future it may be their handwriting, their relationships, their values, or their habits. The idea each time is the same: a serious, book-length, beautifully typeset, psychologically grounded work of writing about one specific person who asked for it.

The tagline is: *The depths within you could fill novels.*

## How Inkli works (Big Five product line)

1. The reader takes a free Big Five personality assessment on inkli.ai. The quiz uses the IPIP-NEO-120, a public-domain instrument developed by John Johnson (2014) to approximate the commercial NEO-PI-R.
2. The quiz is scored against gender-specific normative data. The reader receives thirty facet-level percentile scores and five domain-level scores (Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, Neuroticism).
3. The reader purchases a full portrait book.
4. The book is written for them. Twelve chapters, each exploring a specific intersection of their facets in their life (work, love, conflict, joy, stress, ambition, grief, creativity, intimacy, rest, change, decision-making). The voice describes patterns their scores tend to produce rather than asserting specific facts about the reader's life; the reader is always treated as the final authority on what applies.
5. The book is delivered as a high-quality PDF by email.

## What makes Inkli different

- **Deeply personalized.** Not a generic "you scored 78 in Openness, here is what that means." Every book is assembled for a specific combination of thirty facet scores and reads as a single continuous work of writing about that person.
- **Epistemically honest.** The voice frames everything as a pattern the reader can recognize or reject, not as omniscient claims about their life. "If you're built this way, you're probably the person who..." rather than "you are."
- **Typographically serious.** Typeset in Typst with Ninna, EB Garamond, and Space Mono. Designed as a keepsake.
- **Brand-separated from founder art.** Inkli is run by Innovista Digital LLC. The founder is also a generative artist, but Inkli is deliberately a separate brand.
- **Transparent about AI.** Text is generated with Anthropic's Claude models under careful prompting. Every book carries a copyright page that discloses this and tells the reader the book may contain errors.

## Principles

- Content over beauty. Accurate personal insight is the point; pretty typography is the container.
- The reader is the final authority. The book treats the reader as the person who knows their own life, not as a subject to be diagnosed.
- No astrology, no MBTI, no enneagram, no zodiac. Big Five is the scientifically validated framework.
- No medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice. Self-reflection, not diagnosis.
